Caveman Warriors developer Jandusoft just announced the following information:
“We can finally confirm that Caveman Warriors will come to Nintendo Switch!
We were amazed by the potential of the console and as soon as we could, we got a development kit in order to port our game. As Caveman Warriors encourages co-op multiplayer, you will be able to use one joycon per player (up to four players). This adapted control scheme to a single joycon feels as natural as it was in the NES era. Most of us, if not all, are Nintendo die hard fans and being able to release Caveman Warriors here is a dream come true.
We will announce the release date as soon as we can (the price will be the same as in other platforms), but you can expect this prehistoric multiplayer adventure to come to the Nintendo console soon!”
JanduSoft is an independent studio based in Barcelona, Spain and Caveman Warriors is their first title coming to PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
The following screenshots were provided to us by the developer.
And if that wasn’t enough, here is the official launch trailer:

Personally, I feel like this game is a spiritual successor to the classic Joe & Mac series that I loved playing as a kid in the same way that 20XX is the spiritual successor to Mega Man. We really enjoyed 20XX, so I imagine we will love Caveman Warriors as well. I can’t wait to play it.
